Pics for Cousin Chris
This first pic is the Northwestern, a boat that's been on all the seasons of the show. Those tiny little people might be Hansen brothers.
The next two shots are of the North American. It was getting a paint job but you can spot the name on the third photo. The last shot is just a genral fishing vessel shot.
I watched part of the first season and I liked it but I don't want to watch a reality show where people die trying to catch crabs. I got better things to do. Chris, these shots are for you, bro. I hope you enjoy them! Come to Seattle sometime and see them for real.

First Spring Stroll

I don't post pictures on here frequently enough. To be honest, I don't take as many pics as I used to because I am too busy with my art. Here are a couple to tide you over for a bit. I'm sure I'll have some shots for you from our Florida trip in a few weeks.
Sarah and I took a stroll thru the neighborhood the other night. The light wasn't great but I did get a couple of decent shots. We really enjoyed this kitty cat. He/she was very happy to see us and talked to us thru the window.

Victoria
I didn't get very many good pics in Victoria. Time constraints and other factors contributed. Here are a couple that I like. The building with the foliage is The Empress Hotel. The flowers are from the gardens at the Empress.
The last image is of the Parliament building. It was very hard to get a good shot at night since I didn't have a tripod. I did my best by setting the camera on a statue and pushing the timer. Not the most efficient but it did in a pinch.
Victoria is a beautiful city. I hope Sarah and I can go back sometime...maybe when there aren't 5000 cruise tourists wandering the streets.

Tracy Arm

The Tracy Arm Fjord area was truly incredible. We really enjoyed seeing the wildlife (even if it was from a distance) and the blue ice. The only time I've ever seen blue ice is when I get a blue raspberry slushie at the movies. The naturalist who was narrating as we moved through the area said that author Amy Tan described the ice blue as Windex blue. It is an accurate description.
